01 / Bloodlines
Not every demonborn has a demon parent
The lore describes direct demonic ancestry but also prenatal exposure to demonic forces. Both can produce a person whose nature is partly demonic. The result is not automatically a horned visitor from Hell. The help explicitly describes demonborn as physically human in appearance.
Greater strength and hardiness sit alongside an unusual tolerance for heat. Many feel drawn to fire. None of that should be read as permission to ignore the statistics of the particular character.
02 / Bloodlines
The difficult inheritance
Demonborn have an inherited pleasure in the pain or unhappiness of others. The lore does not say that this erases every other trait or forces every individual into the same lifestyle. It does make the pull towards cruelty a meaningful part of the bloodline.
Demonborn blood has supernatural properties in the setting. Treat those as game-world magic and use the coded item and augmentation rules rather than turning an emote into an unrestricted crafting power.

The actual entries
Demonborn is Tier 2. Demonborn Veteran is Tier 3. Ageless Demonborn and DemiDemon are higher-tier entries. A higher-power Demon guest is a different progression path from any of these permanent-character archetypes.
