FAEBORN

Fae ancestry can surface after generations of ordinary human life. Unusual luck follows you. It does not always favour you. To the wrong people, your captivity is an opportunity.

01 / Bloodlines

Ancestry rather than a costume

Faeborn inherit fae ancestry that may surface after several apparently ordinary generations. The lore describes latent and passive expressions as well as active supernatural bloodlines. A family connection does not mean every relative has active powers.

Faeborn can have delicate features and a smaller build. The help explicitly states that their appearance is physically human. Pointed ears or a nonhuman body are not automatic features of the archetype.

02 / Bloodlines

Fortune cuts both ways

Faeborn draw unusual extremes of luck. Their inheritance is not a constant guarantee of good outcomes. The lore also gives captivity a specific significance: someone holding a faeborn prisoner can benefit from that influence on fortune. That is a setting vulnerability rather than a promise that chance always favours the player.

Active faeborn can express varied gifts. The existence of luck-changing and floral powers does not mean every faeborn receives every ability without the appropriate choices.

Tiers and names

Faeborn is the base Tier 2 entry. Faeborn Veteran is Tier 3. Ageless Faeborn and Fae Child are higher-tier entries. Fae Child is a long-lived adult archetype name in the table and not a child-character option.
