01 / Conflict
The alarm outcome
When public-alarm enforcers defeat a character they can hand the character to the syndicate. The holding cell has a fixed telephone and wards against the nightmare. The character is placed there unbound. This is not the outcome of the separate public-defense response.
If both auction sites are occupied or reserved the enforcers leave the character unconscious at the defeat location instead. The defeat itself does not restore defenses or add wounds.
02 / Conflict
The invitation
All societies receive a scout report. Eligible diplomatic patrol participants receive an auction invitation lasting 15 minutes. The highest bidder present can collect the prisoner through the existing sale flow.
patrol collect- Collect through an eligible auction sale.
03 / Conflict
No buyer
Without a buyer the 24-hour real-time deadline releases the prisoner into the forest. Time spent offline counts. Logging out therefore does not freeze that deadline.
The auction system is a coded setting consequence. It does not replace the rules against out-of-character harassment or convert website knowledge into in-character information.
