Organizations / Player reference

The two alliance sides

Two strategic sides shared by eligible factions and player societies.

01 / Organizations

Sides are determined by the issue

The current system has exactly two sides. Their displayed names follow the current issue. Eligible factions and player societies use the same strategic pool rather than separate parallel alliance systems.

Positions below neutral join one side. Positions above neutral join the other. A neutral society can keep a valid allegiance or receive a stable tie-break. Nonparticipants and the destroyed Order have no strategic side.

Switching has consequences

Changing the arrangement can apply standing and member-power penalties to organizations that switch. Shared territory support is halved once. Repeating the same arrangement does not repeatedly apply those consequences. The change does not normalize treasury balances.

A temporary combat team and the organization that earns a contribution are not necessarily the same identity. Current operation handling records the earning organization separately.

03 / Organizations

A foothold is not the same as an ally

Direct territory benefits belong to the organizations with actual footholds. Being allied with a foothold holder does not automatically give every organization the same direct benefit. Higher-power operations also require the sponsoring organization's own foothold rather than allied support alone.
