A collective obligation
Cortex members collectively must harvest 20 raw LF during each UTC calendar month. Credit is awarded only when a harvest finishes successfully. It counts LF drained before alchemy and cylinder-value multipliers.
Core membership determines who contributes to Cortex's quota. The currently selected society does not divert that credit. Surplus is capped at the quota and does not carry into the next month.

Rollover
Meeting the quota gives Cortex $2,500 in society resources at rollover. Missing it incurs a $10,000 fine. Additional missed months during downtime also incur the fine. The fine can leave the treasury in debt.
The progress display is available in Cortex society information to Cortex members and immortals. The result is logged. These are faction-resource changes rather than a personal payment to each participant.
