01 / Bloodlines
The body and the hunger
Vampires do not die from ordinary aging or disease. They still can be destroyed by physical harm. Their bodies depend on blood rather than a normal living circulation and exertion translates into hunger. A destroyed vampire disintegrates into ash.
A vampire is not automatically a particular personality. The pressure comes from needing to feed and from what that need does to relationships. The website does not turn immortality into immunity to consequences.
02 / Bloodlines
Sunlight and reflections
The lore does not make sunlight an automatic burst into flames. It is painfully bright and direct exposure burns quickly. Even unusually sun-resistant vampires still find the noon sun painful.
Vampires have reflections. Prolonged exposure to a live reflection is disturbing rather than simply showing an empty mirror. The lore distinguishes live images in the same room from printed photographs and old recordings. Garlic is unpleasant rather than a magical barrier. Religious symbols and holy water are not universal vampire repellents.
03 / Bloodlines
Playing the bloodline
The base entry is Vampire at Tier 2. Veteran Vampire is Tier 3. Aged Vampire and Ancient Vampire are the higher entries. Their ages are not interchangeable with apparent age.
The old vampire lore mentions a habitual feeding frequency. The current coded hunger system uses real-day intervals based on tier. Use the feeding guide for deadlines and penalties rather than treating that old prose as the current timer.
help bite- Read the feeding command rules.
help vampire mechanics- Read the bloodline mechanics.
affect- Inspect current LF and hunger modifiers.
