Feeding and hunger

The hunger clock uses real days and keeps running while you are offline.

01 / Survival

Your feeding interval

The current intervals are 30 real days at Tier 3 and 21 at Tier 4 and 14 at Tier 5 or higher. Logged-out time counts. Characters below Tier 3 reset their hunger clock. Guests and staff and dead characters are exempt.

A qualifying successful feed with a positive lifeforce gain resets the clock and immediately removes the hunger penalties. Vampire bites and psychic feeding and prisoner victimization and sacrifice rituals can qualify. Transfusions and unrelated lifeforce grants do not.

The overdue stages

The first symptoms begin at the tier deadline. Each further stage starts after another seven days. The lifeforce penalties remain through regeneration.

Read the feedback

Reminders arrive at most once per seven real days while playing. They state the active stage and the time until the next penalty. Returning after a long absence produces one relevant reminder rather than a backlog.

A qualifying feed confirms that the character is fully fed and gives the next 30 or 21 or 14-day interval. Fully fed means the hunger clock is satisfied. It does not mean the current lifeforce total is at its maximum.

Do not confuse a gain with a meal

The qualifying reason matters. The pedestrian drain reward is explicitly not a feeding reset in the newer pedestrian rules. An ordinary lifeforce gain is not proof that hunger has been cleared. Check the confirmation and the active modifiers rather than guessing from a number.
