Bloodlines / Player reference

Werewolves

Transformation and regeneration come with lunacy and silver.

01 / Bloodlines

More than an ordinary wolf

Werewolves can take the form of a very large wolf. Their strength and quick regeneration make them dangerous fighters. Heightened scent and a strong affinity for natural environments are part of the lore rather than a requirement to play the same personality as every other werewolf.

Anger and group-mindedness can influence them without completely replacing the person they were. Their relationship with the pack and their response to lunacy give that pressure something concrete to act on.

02 / Bloodlines

Lunacy and exposure

The full moon and lunacy are not only decorative background. The mechanics help warns that a werewolf outside during a full moon can kill an NPC. The selected lunacy habit matters. Read it before treating a public transformation as harmless.

Silvered weapons inflict additional stagger. Prolonged silver contact is also unpleasant in the lore. Vampires and werewolves find each other's presence disagreeable but the lore does not make cooperation between individual characters impossible.

03 / Bloodlines

The actual entries

The base Werewolf is Tier 2. Veteran Werewolf is Tier 3. Ageless Werewolf and Ancient Werewolf are higher-tier entries. Age requirements belong to the specific record. A newly transformed young character is not an Ancient Werewolf simply because that build sounds appealing.
